How I Work

I bridge the gap between lived experience and institutional action in global mental health. I partner with service users, researchers, and organizations to turn evidence into implementable programscompetency-driven training, and ethical, user-centered tools—ensuring that what gets built is both effective in practice and responsive to real-world needs.

Services

Systems Design & Implementation

Designing and adapting MHPSS systems grounded in lived experience — built for real-world implementation across humanitarian, development, and low-resource contexts globally.

Competency-Based Training

Evidence-based training delivery, curriculum and tool design, and supervision systems — equipping providers and organizations to build and sustain competency-driven practice.

Research & Evaluation

Rigorous mixed-methods research and evaluation design — including training others to conduct it — generating actionable insight that strengthens systems and improves services on the ground.

Digital Tools & Platforms

Co-development of ethical, user-centered digital mental health tools — including the WHO/UNICEF-supported EQUIP platform — designed for real-world use across diverse global contexts.

Strategic Advisory

Strategic support for leadership teams navigating complexity — grounded in evidence, responsive to context, and accountable to the people their work is meant to serve.

About Me

I work at the intersection of global mental health, implementation science, and justice-oriented design. My approach is rooted in the belief that mental health services should be built with the people who use them.

Over the past decade, I’ve partnered with service users, researchers, clinicians, and organizations across East Africa, South Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. My work focuses on translating research into programs, training, and tools that are ethical, effective, and feasible in real-world settings.

I don’t believe in top-down consulting. I act as a bridge — ensuring that lived experience drives how services are designed and delivered, and that organizations have the support they need to implement meaningful change.
